GDPR & Your Data Rights
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This page explains the data-protection rights available to individuals under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and similar data-protection frameworks, and how to exercise them when using eJobs360. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and why.
1. Who This Applies To
These rights are described primarily for individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with comparable data-protection laws. As a matter of good practice, BizOps aims to honor the spirit of these rights for all eJobs360 users, regardless of location, to the extent feasible.
2. Data Controller
BizOps is the data controller for personal information processed through eJobs360. You can reach our privacy team at info@ejobs360.com.
3. Your Rights Under GDPR
- Right to access — you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and information about how it is processed.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information. Most profile fields can be edited directly from your account.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — you can request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., billing records).
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to temporarily or permanently stop processing some or all of your personal information in certain circumstances (e.g., while a rectification request is being verified).
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV export of your profile and application history) so it can be transferred to another service.
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests (including profiling for job recommendations) or to direct marketing at any time.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing emails, optional document uploads), you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Rights related to automated decision-making — see Section 5 below regarding our use of AI-driven matching, scoring, and recommendations.
4. How to Exercise Your Rights
You can exercise most of these rights directly within the product:
- Access / export / delete — go to Account Settings → Privacy & Security to request a data export or initiate account deletion.
- Rectification — edit your profile, résumé, and company details directly from your dashboard.
- Marketing preferences — manage email/notification preferences from Account Settings → Notifications.
For any request that cannot be completed in-product, or if you need help, email info@ejobs360.com with the subject line “Data Rights Request”. We will verify your identity before acting on the request and will respond within 30 days, as required by the GDPR (this period may be extended by up to two further months for complex requests, in which case we will notify you).
5. Automated Decision-Making & AI Features
eJobs360 uses automated processing to power features such as AI job-match scores, candidate ranking for employers, AI CV ratings, skill-assessment scoring, and the AI Career Coach. These outputs are intended to assist — not replace — human decision-making (e.g., a hiring decision should not be made solely on the basis of an automated match score). If you believe an automated output about you is inaccurate, or you would like a human review of a decision that significantly affects you, contact info@ejobs360.com.
6. International Data Transfers
Where your personal information is transferred from the EEA/UK to Bangladesh or other countries that have not been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our service providers.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (e.g., financial record-keeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Lodging a Complaint
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or a data-rights request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority (for example, the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or your national Data Protection Authority within the EEA). We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns directly first — please contact us at info@ejobs360.com.
